Summer 2013, Beach Volleyball Organizer & Instructor
I normally run a summer program at Petrie Island (3-4 nets), 20 minutes of drills followed by instructor modified game play (depending on the skill level).
This summer I will be far too busy with my full time job to run the program but I don't want to cancel it either so I'm looking for an organizer & instructor. You should have good communication skills, lots of energy and some coaching experience.
You would need to start at 6:00PM and take down is usually just before the mosquitoes come out.
Pay is $40- $50 per night, negotiable depending on experience.

Fall 2013, Indoor League Coordinator
Looking for an enthusiastic volleyball player to manage a league on Sunday nights from 7:00PM - 10:30PM who has excellent communication skills. You should have some experience organizing tournaments or leagues (volleyball or other sports), comfortable speaking in front of groups, can demand attention & respect. You should also have a very strong knowledge of the rules of volleyball.
The job includes:
- setup & takedown (first few weeks)
- managing scores & standings
- managing teams & players
- rule interpretation (via email)
- team registration, team complaints, descipline, etc.
Pay:
- the league in non-profit, so ideally we're looking for a player who would be willing to do a professional job in exchange for free registration and to cover any expenses related to the league (new equipment, etc).
